The ARCANA app collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers. Nothing you do in the app ever leaves your device. Nothing on this website talks to a server either. The metronome and tuner demos run entirely in your browser.
ARCANA (the iOS/Android app) does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage data whatsoever.
ARCANA requests microphone access only while the tuner is open, to detect the pitch of your instrument. Audio is processed in real time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Closing the tuner releases the microphone.
Your settings (tempo, practice mode, sound, and similar preferences) are saved only in the app's local storage on your device. Nothing else is stored. There is no usage log, no history, and no record of when or how long you practise. Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no access to it.
ARCANA contains no purchases. There is nothing to buy in the app, no subscription, no paid tier, and nothing to restore. There is also no account, no sign-up and no sign-in.
If a paid feature is ever added in a future version, it would be processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play, and we would still never receive or store your payment details or identity. Nothing about how you use the app, what you practise, when, or for how long, is ever sent anywhere. There is no server for it to be sent to.
The ARCANA app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
